Document AI specialized company Lomin has recently garnered attention in the global market, being selected as a member of NVIDIA's startup elite program, 'NVIDIA Inception.' According to the company on the 18th, Lomin is a startup with a mission to support everyone in easily and quickly generating, understanding, analyzing, and utilizing information and knowledge through document AI technology.
This goal goes beyond simply understanding documents, encompassing document creation, analysis, and the generation of new information and knowledge. As the volume of information in modern society grows rapidly, improving the accessibility and usability of information through documents has become increasingly important. Lomin seeks not only to uncover hidden value within documents, making it easy for everyone to grasp and utilize the content, but also to empower users to create new documents and derive meaningful insights based on their own data.
Lomin was co-founded in 2018 by CEO Kang Ji-hong, who was researching AI and computer vision during his doctoral studies at Seoul National University, and CTO Limbi. In the year it was founded and the following year, the company won the top ministerial award at the ‘AI Grand R&D Challenge’ hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, among other achievements, securing numerous patents and new technology certifications, thereby recognizing its technological prowess.
