Lomin (CEO Kang Ji-hong), a leading document AI company, announced its participation as a gold sponsor at the ‘Korean Conference on Computer Vision (KCCV) 2024,’ to be held from August 12 to 14 at BEXCO in Busan.

KCCV is the most prestigious academic conference in the field of computer vision and artificial intelligence in Korea. Celebrating its 11th edition this year, the conference has become a crucial platform for sharing the latest research achievements and technological trends. Around 1,000 researchers and industry professionals are expected to attend the event, with domestic researchers recognized at international conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, and NeurIPS, set to present their latest findings. Additionally, various programs such as exhibitions, demos, and PhD colloquiums will be organized.

At KCCV 2024, Lomin will showcase its innovative document AI platform, Textscope® Studio. Furthermore, the company plans to host an on-site meetup to recruit master’s and PhD-level multimodal AI engineers and specialized research personnel.

Textscope® Studio is a platform designed to read, understand, and quickly utilize and create document data, offering all AI technologies needed for document processing and automation, including document parsing, document understanding, and document AI model training (MLOps). The platform is evaluated as an optimal solution for automating document processing in various industries, including the financial sector and public institutions.

Kang Ji-hong, CEO of Lomin, expressed his excitement about introducing Lomin’s document AI solutions at KCCV 2024 and sharing the latest technological trends in computer vision and AI. He added, “Lomin will continue to lead the digital transformation of domestic and international companies through continuous technological innovation.”

Meanwhile, Lomin’s CTO, Limbi, received the Lee Sang-wook Paper Award at KCCV 2022. Limbi was recognized for his influential paper on super-resolution technology, ‘Enhanced Deep Residual Networks for Single Image Super-Resolution,’ which was presented at the 2017 CVPR (Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition) conference.
