Lomin Launches "AI Ready Package" for Document Structuring and Sensitive Data De-identification

Lomin Inc. has launched the Lomin AI Ready Package, an integrated offering that combines Lomin Parse, its document structuring solution, with Lomin Redact, its sensitive data de-identification solution.

The package delivers, as one continuous workflow, both the conversion of unstructured documents into data usable by generative AI and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and the de-identification of personal and sensitive information contained in those documents.

Lomin brought the two solutions together in response to rising enterprise demand. As generative AI and RAG adoption spreads and Korea's AI Framework Act takes effect, companies increasingly need to solve document structuring and the protection of personal and sensitive data at the same time, rather than as separate initiatives.

The Lomin AI Ready Package operates in sequence: Lomin Parse converts documents into a format AI systems can read, and Lomin Redact then locates and masks personal and sensitive information within the result. Enhanced with vision-language model (VLM) technology, the package handles document upload, structuring, sensitive data detection, redaction, and delivery of the resulting data without moving data between separate systems.

Lomin Parse and Lomin Redact are already being applied together in a generative AI data development project at a major Korean bank, where unstructured documents are converted into structured data and de-identified for use in generative AI and search services.

The Lomin AI Ready Package can be deployed on-premises, in a private cloud, or as SaaS, depending on the customer's IT environment and security policies.

"Since the AI Framework Act took effect, enterprises face an environment in which they must be able to account not only for the performance of their AI, but also for the reliability and governance of the data used to train and operate it," said Kang Ji-hong, CEO of Lomin. "The Lomin AI Ready Package will support companies in building a trustworthy foundation for AI adoption, so they can use generative AI more safely and more efficiently."

Lomin recorded KRW 5 billion in cumulative bookings in the first half of this year, surpassing its full-year total from the previous year within six months. The result reflects an expanding customer base spanning financial institutions — including Woori Bank, Suhyup Bank, and Korean Re — as well as the manufacturing, public, and healthcare sectors.
