The Information and Communication Technology Planning and Evaluation Institute (IITP) announced on the 6th that it had selected the four winning teams from the '2019 AI Grand Challenge,' which was held on July 12th at KINTEX in Ilsan. A total of 617 participants from 121 teams, including high school students, universities, and startups, competed in the 2019 AI Grand Challenge, resulting in the selection of 12 outstanding research teams and four final winning teams in each track. These 12 excellent research teams will receive up to 6 billion won in follow-up research funding annually until 2020.
