The Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation at Yonsei University Medical Center has signed a joint research and development agreement with the startup Lomin (CEO Kang Ji-hong) to collaborate on developing AI software for the early diagnosis of bladder cancer. This research, led by the team of Professors Choi Young-deuk and Lee Jong-soo from the Department of Urology at Severance Hospital, began its first steps on the 1st. Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to develop AI software that detects bladder cancer, its type, and its location based on cystoscopy results.
