Lomin Inc. (CEO Kang Ji-hong), a company specializing in AI computer vision OCR solutions, announced on the 2nd that it would supply its AI OCR solution for the digital (OCR) system for KB Kookmin Card's merchant screening operations. Lomin, in consortium with Bantus Co., Ltd. (CEO Yoo Seung-wan), was selected as the final contractor, beating out competitors. In this project, Bantus will handle system integration, while Lomin will supply its deep learning-based AI OCR solution, Textscope™, for the automatic recognition of screening documents.
