Expands Supply of Document AI Platform Across Public Sector, Financial Services, and Enterprises

Document AI company Lomin announced on the 26th that it has entered into a partnership agreement for solution business cooperation with Naver Cloud. Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate to expand the distribution of document AI–based document workflow automation solutions and to jointly pursue related business initiatives.

The partnership aims to accelerate adoption of document automation solutions across a wide range of industries—including the public sector, financial services, and enterprises—by combining Lomin’s document AI capabilities with Naver Cloud’s network and marketplace ecosystem. The companies plan to establish an industry-specific delivery framework tailored to customer demand.

Through the collaboration, Lomin will provide its key Document AI solutions, including: Textscope® Reader, an AI OCR solution that recognizes both printed and handwritten text from document images with high precision; Textscope® Doc Parser, which interprets complex document structures and refines and structures key information such as text, tables, and figures; and a Document AI platform that integrates VLM (Vision-Language Model)–based visual understanding with active learning technology.

In particular, Textscope® Doc Parser performs document structuring by converting elements such as text, tables, and figures into structured data, and was recently applied to the administrative document preprocessing domain as part of the Pan-Government Large-Scale AI Common Infrastructure Implementation Project.

The solution is listed on the Naver Cloud Platform Marketplace and is offered in editions tailored for public institutions, financial institutions, and general enterprises. Lomin currently delivers the solution primarily in an on-premises deployment model and plans to expand availability in a SaaS (Software as a Service) format in the future.

“Lomin will contribute to enabling organizations and enterprises to automate document-driven operations while achieving both cost savings and greater efficiency in information utilization,” said Jihong Kang, CEO of Lomin.

Meanwhile, Lomin has supplied Document AI solutions mainly to financial and public-sector organizations, and has been recognized as a representative vendor in the performance category in Gartner’s report on Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platforms.
